Database: INSPEC is the leading English-language abstract database on physics and engineering. It is created by the London Institute of Electrical Engineers (IEE) and is analogous to the print edition of ScienceAbstractsseries: PhysicsAbstracts, Electrical & ElectronicsAbstracts, Computer& ControlAbstracts.The database is provided on the EBSCO platform, so abstracts have links to the full texts of articles from available to readers journals. Contains about 10 million entries: abstracts of articles from more than 3850 scientific journals, abstracts of materials from more than 2 thousand scientific conferences. The database also includes descriptions of books, technical reports and dissertations. The INSPEC database enables scientists and specialists to find publications necessary for scientific work, and can be used to inform about new products, technical forecasting, competitive intelligence and patent research.
